Vittorio Reggianini (1858-1938)

Born in Modena, Italy he studied at the Academy of Modena and later became a professor at the same institution. Not a great deal is
known about the life of this painter. He was an artist who specialised in genre subjects but also painted allegorical scenes.

His particular forte was the painting of lavish interiors,with elegant company paying particular attention to the fabrics and detail of rococco
life often with humour.His paintings are much sought after in Britain,Europe and the U.S.A
