Adrianus Eversen

(1818-1897)

Born in Amsterdam he was a pupil of C De Kruyff and later studied under the tutorship of Cornelus Springer.
However Eversen kept to his true principles and painted in a natural way with a reality that one now views with more interest as an interpretation of his own age.

He worked in Amsterdam then Rotterdam, eventually moving to Delft. He painted many towns throughout Holland and exhibited throughout
his life. His paintings can be found in several Dutch museums.
