Otto Eichinger

(1922-2004)

Born in Vienna where he attended the local high school and took a number of courses in lithography which he intended to pursue as a profession.
He had always enjoyed painting and spent his spare with brushes in his hand.

However it was not until after WWII that he devoted himself entirely to his hobby. His meticulous painting of Austrian peasants,
Rabbis and Cardinals have made him one of the best known portrait artists in Austria. His works are much sought after and are a
constant source of wonder with the fine brush strokes depicting every hair and whisker of the characters he portrays.
