Jorge Aguilar-Agon

Jorge Aguilar-Agon was born in Barcelona in 1936, he left Spain after attaining his University Degree then travelled to France and Germany . His first exhibition was held at the Medici Society in London and his reputation as an artist grew into one of international recognition and repute.
His distinctive style reflects his many travels, he works from studios in France, England and Spain and speaks seven languages.
Founder member of the European Academy of Arts, Paris and Namur.

His paintings are represented in exclusive private collections and museums all over the world.

A romantic impressionist with distinctive influences initially from the Catalan Impressionists and European Surrealist movements. Sensitive to the poetry of hazy, nebulous limpid atmospheres, with is visions taking on magical shapes.
